Making complex R&D work. From science to product.

Solve the science, build a credible path to product and get the R&D team moving in the same direction.

For founders, investors and R&D leaders in chemistry, advanced materials and deep tech.

15+Years in complex R&D
40+Patents
10+Years of executive and scientific leadership

Three ways to move R&D forward.

Solve a complex technical problem

Bring a fresh technical perspective to the science, data and experimental plans. Challenge assumptions, determine why results do not add up and develop creative solutions. Compare technical alternatives and identify the strongest approach.

Turn promising science into a product

Identify the main technical risks, what still needs to be proven and how to meet product requirements. Design experiments that reduce those risks and close the gaps, then build a clear path from promising lab results to a reliable, scalable process.

Build stronger R&D leaders and teams

Reduce noise and clarify priorities, roles and accountability. Help R&D leaders grow, improve collaboration and trust across functions and create an environment that supports honest, respectful technical debate and the difficult decisions needed to accelerate R&D.

R&D Bottleneck Review

For leaders who need an honest view of what is holding R&D back

Get an independent view of what is holding R&D back. Examine the technical work, team capabilities and leadership practices to determine whether the bottleneck is technical, organizational or both. Identify the decisions and changes most likely to improve performance.

Technical Due Diligence

For founders, investors, boards and executives making strategic decisions

Get an independent assessment of what has been proven, what remains uncertain and which technical risks matter most. Challenge assumptions, clarify the evidence and identify what needs to happen next throughout product development and commercialization.

Eran Sella, strategic R&D advisor

Scientific expertise.Real-world R&D leadership.

I advise founders, investors and R&D leaders on turning deep science into products, especially when the usual technical approach is not working. My work connects technical problem-solving, product development and the leadership and teams needed to deliver results.

I am a Ph.D. organic chemist, R&D leader and inventor on more than 40 patents, with postdoctoral research experience at Scripps Research in La Jolla, California. For over 15 years, I have solved complex technical problems and led multidisciplinary R&D teams across energy storage, smart glass, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, coatings and advanced materials.

I help teams diagnose why development is stuck, develop new solutions and design the experiments needed to resolve critical uncertainties. I also help R&D leaders set clear priorities, apply practical agile methods and strengthen both technical and people leadership.
